Exploring the Anatomex Transorbital Surgical Simulation Model

Our first video is live! Exploring the Anatomex Transorbital Surgical Simulation Model with Professor Darlene Lubbe

We’re excited to announce the release of our very first YouTube video!

In this inaugural episode, we are proud to feature Professor Darlene Lubbe, a global pioneer in transorbital neuroendoscopic surgery (TONES). Professor Lubbe takes you through the Anatomex Transorbital Surgical Simulation Model, an innovative training tool developed in collaboration with 3D model architect Jose Ventura of Ticom Labs.

This high-fidelity, anatomically accurate model has been specifically designed to support surgeons, medical educators, and training institutions in advancing their understanding and skill in transorbital surgical techniques—without the need for cadavers.

What you’ll see in the video:

  • A detailed walkthrough of the model’s design and functionality
  • The unique features of the removable orbits
  • How the model enhances surgical training, education, and patient communication

All orbits are fully replaceable and can be ordered in packs—so your team can keep training, case after case, with a single base unit.

In Part 2 of the introduction to the Transorbital Surgical Simulation Model (also known simply as the Transorbital 3D Model), we’ll take you on a test drive of the model as Professor Lubbe puts the model through its paces in a surgical simulation at the Neuroscience Institute in Cape Town, South Africa.

We invite you to like, comment, and subscribe to our channel as we continue to bring you hands-on insights, expert guidance, and the latest in surgical simulation innovation.
